Way better than a normal pair of Google Cardboard, although I recommend also buying a bluetooth controller. Just the build quality alone is amazing considering how cheap the price is, and lenses are, again, better than what you'd expect given the price. The lenses are big enough that the main factor limiting my FOV now is my 5.5 inch phone. It's a bit on the heavy side, but after a while I got used to it. It's a very comfy headset anyway. Just like me you'll probably feel a lot of the weight on either your nose (the headset itself has ample space for an average nose) or your cheeks, so I recommend adjusting the straps to make a tighter fit. The adjustment system for focusing and such works great, although I do wish there was a wider range. Now as to why I didn't give it 5 stars. First off, while the headset came packaged securely and cleanly, there was a speck of dust or whatever it was on the INSIDE of the back screen protector (the layer of plastic that you're supposed to lay your phone on). I tried my best to get it off without doing anything drastic, but in the end I was forced to peel the plastic layer off. I can never put it back on now though, because ultimately removing the speck resulted in me scratching the plastic layer, but I recommend taking it off anyway, because for one I don't think it really does anything, and second the layer is just one more thing you have to clean to make sure you don't see dust and the like on your VR screen (side note: if you have long eye lashes, you're gonna want to clean the lenses a lot). Secondly, unless the headset magically works perfectly for you out of the box, you're gonna have to do a LOT of calibrating to make your phone work properly with this (the default Cardboard parameters work okay, but not good enough IMO) because there's no included QR code for the headset's setup for your phone, unless you like looking at either a small viewing area or an unfocused and blurry image(the adjustments on the headset can only do so much). Lastly, you can't remove the foam band that surrounds your face. It's a minor thing honestly, but it would've been great to be able to take it off whenever I want to clean. In general it's a good pair of VR headset, but the low price really sweetens the deal.

I wasn't expecting much in the first place given it's price, but I was at least expecting a working product. The package came a few days late, which was honestly fine, but it DIDN'T come with the mouse pad and the 4-pack of AAA batteries listed on it's product page. Luckily I already had a mouse pad, but I had to go out and buy batteries because I didn't have any since it listed that it would come with them. Even after using fresh out of the box batteries, the keyboard would not work properly. Only a few keys (like the start button and the mute button) would work, the rest didn't do anything (and no, holding down Esc plus =+ did NOT work). Physically the keyboard was even missing the sticker that's supposed to go over the Num Lock, Caps LEDs. After a bit of fiddling i got the mouse to work, but it's straight up trash. It jumps every other second you're using it, and isn't very ergonimic. I can't even think of it as cheap anymore considering all the time I wasted waiting and trying to troubleshoot this plus the cost of the batteries that were supposed to come with this but didn't. I am DEFINITELY asking for a refund.
