Does not seem to work with my phone camera or the suggested app (Android Moto G Play). Not a big deal foe me as the reason I bought it was for a Raspberry Pi project which it works just as I hoped it would.

I have a much more expensive electric riser desk and like this one better. This goes higher and makes it much better to use if you are tall (over 6 foot). It is a little slow but once preset you just press the button once and it adjusts no need to hold the button. The time to remind you to standup has been useful.
