I've yet to put it through its paces but it seems great for the price.. I'm using it to hold a condenser mic in my studio. Not sure how well it would hold up travelling back and forth to gigs. Maybe it would, hard to say.

Not bad. I don't know why they chose to use a new size of thread rather than the standard tripod or microphone adapter thread. If you want to use your own microphone adapter, you have to use a little piece that screws on to the original thread and then provides the correct microphone threads. The unit is fairly stable, except at the base, where there is movement and its hard to tighten it so it is stable.

A little awkward to adjust. I still haven't quite figured out the correct way to set the tilt settings.Also, the little lip that is supposed to hold your laptop is small, not much holding the laptop in place.
