Bought this to I replace my dangling 10ft Rankie cable and clean up my workstation. First cable would flicker and work for about a second at a time. Contacted supported to get a second one shipped out. Second one didn't work at all and I'm still using the dangling 10ft cable. This is the first time that a Monoprice cable has disappointed.

Dear customer, That could be a sign of the DP port on your device has dust or oxidation built up. since getting two defective cables is really rare but still possible, try to twist the connector a bit after you plug in the new cable and see if the signal will comes our or not also we would suggest you to clean up the DP port with compress air a bit and try the cable again.
