I got it hooked up to my computer ( Win 8) and working without too much difficulty. The zoom button does nothing. Rotating the silver thing on top with your hands to zoom in and out, moves the whole unit so you lose what you are looking at in the field of vision. If you can manage to get zoomed in on what you want and hold things still you might see something good on your screen.
