Very sturdy. I'm using in on a Sharp 55" 4K and it holds it well, and swivels nicely side to side. i wouldn't recommend on an older heavier TV but I wouldnt put one of those on any swivel type mounts.

i'm using this now in Windsor, Ontario, and with just half aiming it north to the US, Im picking up 44 channels, and that is with a 7dB loss splitter on the line, no amplification. All channels come in strong with out any pixilation.
