50ft Premier Series XLR M/F 16AWG Cable (Gold Plated) [Microphone & Interconnect]

This cable seems to be defined as premium because it has a massively thick layer of plastic making up the cable. To me, a premium cable is one that is strong and well made, but still quite flexible. Most brand name music cables I have bought fit the strong but thinner and flexible concept. A long-ish one of these would be quite unmanageable on stage. I'll keep it, but not happy.

It was OK. Good construction, easy to assemble (although one of the threaded legs was drilled/threaded off centre at an angle). Kinda cheap stick-on feet to stop it from sliding on a desk, which should have been adhesive flat rubber pads so that stay in place if you have to move the unit, instead fo coming off all the time. It's adequate and one of the few angled units out there.

This is a great bar with plenty of connection point incl USB, plus heavy duty wire (14 or 16 gauge) which should support a full 15A draw unlike so many others. who cheapen down in this area. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that I needed to wall mount it. There was no template, and there are no screws included, which would not have been that big a deal except that the mount holes are very specific and super shallow with right angle walls that leave no room for a screw head with any rounded height. You need a special thin flat head non tapered set of screws to make mounting possible, so they should be included. Because the walls are so straight, taper head screws don't work either as they won't slide down the mounting slots.

Feels pretty light and flimsy. I would recommend upgrading to a molded plastic as this seems more of a snap together shell. It's function is fine so far.

These look professional in gold, but the wire doesn't clamp in or screw into anything. It just squashes in with no strain relief at all. I used 14 gauge wire, and it wasn't too bad as the plastic is thick enough to hold against the sides a bit, but that little bit of friction is all that holds the wire in. They are a poorly engineered design passing itself off as quality.
