Compatible T288XL Ink Cartridge Combo High Yield BK/C/M/Y for Epson® Printers - Moustache - 5/Pack

Fortunately this package includes two black ink cartridges, as the first one I installed would not print the black ink even after several nozzle checks and head cleanings. Second black cartridge worked fine. Hoping I can get a replacement for the defective cartridge as it's still full of ink, but completely useless to me now. I had previously not had any problems with the Moustache brand cartridges.

I was very hopeful when I first ordered the Epson compatible cartridges, as a friend had recommended 123 InkCartridges. I have a Stylus NX400 printer and the cartridges worked fine at first. Then one day after printing the first page of a document the printer stopped printing and indicated that it suddenly didn't recognize the cyan ink cartridge, even though I know there was ink remaining in it as I had checked the ink levels prior to printing. After trying troubleshooting fixes I called 123 Customer Service and was sent a replacement cyan cartridge. The replacement worked fine for a short time and then the same issue happened again with the cyan and magenta cartridges. I have since ordered Epson OEM cartridges as I'm now wary of using 123 Compatible cartridges as I can't depend on them working in my printer. Since installing the Epson OEM cartridges my printer has worked well with no problems. So disappointing as I really appreciated the initial cost savings of the Compatible cartridges. Has anyone else had problems with their printers suddenly not recognizing the Compatible cartridges?
