print quality is poor with a consistent line of toner mess along the left side. I am finding branded cartridges to be worth the extra these days. Brands seem to have figured out a way to ensure aftermarket toners do not work as well.

Canon 045H 1246C001 Original Black Toner Cartridge High Yield

Replacing my aftermarket toner with the official Canon one solved my printing problems immediately. I usually use aftermarket cartridges but in this case, I will be switching back to Canon. Printer manufacturers seem to know how make it difficult for the aftermarket manufacturers. Annoying and costly. I will not purchase a Canon printer again.
