Epson T5846 Original Photo Ink Cartridge and Photo Paper Combo for PictureMate 200 Series Printer

I've used five of these - Epson T5846 kit -in a PictureMate PM225 unit in the past several weeks. I'm catching up on old photos. Have used other Epson products with a previous older PictureMate. The glossy prints are dry and smudge-free instantly, details and colours are great, printer runs cleanly with few Nozzle Clean operations. I get 152 to 158 prints on every kit (I have a bit of spare extra Epson paper). I'm buying more.

Compatible T5846 Glossy Color Ink Cartridge for Epson® Printers

I'm unhappy with this compatible cartridge. I ran three genuine Epson ones and got 153 to 158 prints per cart. I ran two of these compatibles and got 72 and 119 prints per cart. Print quality was fine, yield is the issue. That woks out to no $$ saving over genuine Epson unit, and maybe even a loss.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback, High yield cartridges are more expensive but are often worth the extra money for print heavy consumers. ... If you print regularly, paying a little bit more for a high yield cartridge is worth it in long run because you will usually get a lot more prints than your average standard yield cartridge.We hope you'll come and see us again soon! This Epson T5846 set is great! I've just run through 3 of them, got excellent print quality, and form 153 to 158 prints per kit (had some extra paper spare). In three cartridges, I did head cleaning only a couple of times.
