This adapter works exactly as it should. Every cable, every adapter I have purchased here has been surprisingly great quality. I was skeptical of how good they'd be when I saw how low priced these products were but I am glad I gave them a try. I own lots of them now, in my home studio, and they are top notch, no failures... I'm very happy and so is my wallet!

Just didn't work for me but was worth a try... can't fault the adapter. I needed to go from thunderbolt to HDMI to a 3rd monitor but it kept blinking about every 30 seconds. What did finally work was going from thunderbolt to DVI and then to HDMI. I believe the problem is that HDMI wants to carry audio from the thunderbolt port and kept "looking" for it and interrupting the signal. My audio is routed elsewhere so, by inserting a DVI coupler at the port it no longer looked for audio signal... everything works as intended. Hope this helps Mac owners.
