Don't waste your money on this switch. I bought it so that I could connect both TV audio and PC audio to my Bose soundbar audio input. But this product is so cheaply built. The four jacks barely hold the cable connectors. The IN/OUT wouldn't hold at all, the cable just kept falling out. The product description says that it 'will not degrade the optical signal in any way'. Actually, more often than not, the dial wouldn't provide a perfectly strait connection at both ends, and audio only worked sporadically. Optical audio will either work completely or not at all. You'd be better off looking somewhere else for a switch unless you want a very aggravating problem on your hands. Will be returning this...
