I mount a pair of MartinLogan 4i speakers on the ceilings. The back of the speaker is concave(curved inwards), so I use a ¼”x1½”long -20unc hex bolt to attach the part to the speaker before fix it to the mount. The speakers are 6Lb each and it works. It looks flimsy but it does the job. For the price you cannot beat it.
