I'm back. I did some more work on my 24" monitor which the repeater with about 26 ft. of HDMI cable was connected to, and the repeater may be OK, ( it did light up). I found out the monitor itself may be faulty and won't turn on when connected straight in with a 6 ft hdmi cable! Back to the drawing board!
