Exactly what I expected: easy to set up, no dead pixels, and a plethora of features and input connections. TV was intended for someone in a nursing home so weaker sound output was not an issue for us. Set up for the digital antenna was simple, 16 channels picked up on the south shore of Montreal on a 3rd floor room. TV settings allowed for channel blocking so we were able to set up only the channels the viewer wanted to see. Very light.

Build quality appears to be on par with the braided options, so I will keep an eye on the plug casing coming off. This one is smooth plastic, meaning it will not snag as much for where I was placing it. Charge goes through perfectly. Not tested for data transfer.

This wall mount was exactly what I needed for my sister-in-law's bedroom, where she can watch her TV in peace. Being mentally challenged, she sometimes needs time away from the hustle and bustle of our house and we were looking for a tilting wall mount since we wanted the viewing angle to fit where she was sitting at the time. The installation was a breeze and the built-in level is one of those "why didn't I think of that first" innovations that just makes sense. The instructions were clear, and the process was completed in much less time than anticipated.

I was looking for a cable that was sturdy, yet still be flexible, and was happily surprised that this cable fit the bill perfectly. Gold plating wasn't a primary concern, as it has never been really proven to improve a digital signal, so my choice rested on price and the physical attributes of the cable itself. It has been in use for a few months and has functioned flawlessly with a 1080p TV connected to either a media player or a game console.
