There are a few things I wish I had known about this mount before ordering it. First, the holes in the bracket just barely span 16", which is also the distance between studs on most walls. That means that unless you're willing to mount your tv so that it's centred exactly between two studs, you should buy a wider mount. Second, the lag bolts are made of very soft steel, so if you need to attempt a second or third installation, there's a chance that the heads will start to strip. All in all, this mount is still a good buy for the sale price if you can plan ahead.
