This is a very impressive lamp for the price. It does take 6 AA batteries, and is consequently a little heavy, but it delivers quite good illumination, and the temperature of the light and its intensity can be varied. It can be mounted on the hotshoe of a camera or separately on a tripod.

The printer recognizes that these aren't Canon cartridges but it makes no difference. It prints. I don't print much, and this 4-pack should do me a while. I'm satisfied with that. They are excellent value, and the black is as black as you would expect it to be.
