Construction met expectations, some reviews said it was poor, I didn't find that. In saying this, I didn't follow the instructions to check my outlets. They are all upside down meaning that I couldn't use it. I gave it to a friend that said it works great.

Item is as described, worked as expected. The orange light is not very bright, just enough for you to find it, can't say it's suitable for a kid's nightlight or to brighten a late night walk down hallway.
