This is a great set for the price, good quality for the beginner or the advanced painter to carry with them just in case you want to do a quick scotch. Metal tin is a bonus.

Medium softness, good colour range, excellent value. I use oil pastels often and find that having various hardness to the pastel gives great advantage, soft over firm. Great value.

These were a gift for my daughter, she tried them and was impressed, it seems that with pastels the colours are never exactly the same and new sets are always a welcome addition to your inventory.
