I drilled a hole trough my desk to install. I found it just a tiny bit wobbly, but will do. If the base of the vertical tube had some kind of triangle base or something, it could help with the wobble.

For the price, you get something decent. I will probably buy an other one. Be aware of the following: - Most holes are not tapered (you need to thread the screws in). That includes the fans and the brackets that the hardware screws in. They can be quite hard to thread since the screws are cheap metal. - Instruction manuel is poorly translated in French and so-so in English. Steps are missing and screws are not label (I don't know what screws look like what). - The rubber cushions on the door were squished to the max but worked. Just looked cheap. - There is a 5mm wide gap you can open when the door is locked (you can giggle the door) but it can't be unlocked without the key in (but a metal saw can do the trick) It won't keep a willing criminal but it will stop the average Joe from touching something critical in your network. Bottom line : get it if you don't need that much security and want something that looks professional.
