This is a heavy duty cable - solid, chunky, metal ends, and no crackles or pops when connected. I would say that this is probably over-engineered for my use, but it does inspire confidence.

A solid product!. I would classify it as a "medium duty" stand. I was impressed that, on a flat floor, it didn't "wobble", as many of the cheaper stands do. They've allowed for uneven surfaces by moulding the feet with a "lobe" to them - very clever. Delighted with this purchase.
