The designer of this product should be happy that user cannot give it a zero rating here. I did not realized that automatic cooling is a 'fancy' idea when I bought it. As stated in product description, the cooktop 'directly heating the metal in pans, there is no heat loss', so the glass top should not be so hot that it needs a fan 'helps keep glass top cool'. Though the cooling fan is useless, it is really 'oversized'. It runs all the time when cooking and the noise could be heard by my neighbor if I leave the window open.
