I wanted to use this power bar with an under mounted tray, however due to the dimensions it didn't sit flush and the power cords were pushing against the table making it not suitable. I could still mount it with using screws as it has mounting points underneath. I ended up using it elsewhere in the house so it wasn't a total loss and why I'm giving it 4 stars.

This works pretty good, it's sturdy and does a decent job in hiding the cables / power bars. I use 2 of them underneath the desk, 1 for power related, and another for an external docking station / usb hub.

I currently have 2 displaylink adapters for my multimonitor setup. I thought I could use this to eliminate both those adapters (or at least 1 of them) and provide ethernet connectivity for my wife's Asus Vivobook (X509JA) and neither the VGA or HDMI output anything. I mainly wanted to clean up the work area and to provide a more reliable connection by ethernet.
