Hi, The construction of this pen seem to be well plan, because on the tip end are a wax tip so the ink will not dry out... and the wax protect the ballpoint end( the tip). It the first for me to see this protection tip. Also when I write with them pen it reminds me when I used those fountain pen when I was a child. I did notice that I was able to write on glossy paper surface need some drying time before touching the ink. I am too early for me to say how long it would last; on the ink level and the ware of the tip end. If they did use the same construct ideals as the tip, I would think the rest is ok. I would recommend them to anyone that I know. Thank you, Chris
