I purchased this Kinect extension cable 2 months ago and didn't get around to using it until a few days ago. To my dismay, the cable is defective and my Kinect sensor doesn't power up when the extension cable is used. I had wanted to set up the Xbox/Kinect for my kids birthday party and now I couldn't because the original cable wasn't long enough. When I tried to get 123Cartridges to do a RMA, I found out cables are only covered for 14 days (even though the product page shows One Year Guarantee on the right hand side)! Next time, I should just get it from Monoprice, who has lifetime warranty on all their cables.
