Does everything it needs to with a long cable, which was the initial reason I bought it. You can plug things into it and they get power, they're supposedly protected from surges and nothing has blown up on me yet. Cable is angled to the side and stays out of the way, while staying pretty flat against the wall. Pretty sure that covers all of the needs you could possibly have when trying to decide which surge protector to purchase.

Belkin surge protector products are excellent, and I'm in the process of moving all my power bars over to Belkin ones. Well worth the price.

Searched for hours for a surge protector with a long extension cord. Love that there is lots of space between plugs. Great product.

The product itself is great - ordered it a second time. But this time they sent me an item that looked used/returned or refurbished - the casing had scratches on it (see pictures). I chatted with orders support and they agreed to send me a replacement (new) item, but even the replacement item I received looks used/returned >.< (although it does look better than the first one). They need to fix quality control and make sure they're not selling used/returned items as new.

The 12-ft cord is very handy. Note that we *cannot* extend the length of an existing power bar by plugging it into another extension cord (major fire hazard) so the length we buy is the maximum length we've got - it's worth getting the longer one.

Works very well for my plugs, especially all the transformers that need to be plugged in they do not block the other plugs.

Well constructed. Really like the long cord. Attached to a TV cart and appreciate not needing an extension cord for most locations.

I was looking for a surge protector with a 12' cord and plenty of space for bigger power adapters. This fit the bill perfectly.
