The cable is great and works as advertised. I use it for 1080p from my computer to an HDTV. I pushed my luck and added a passive splitter at my computer to keep the image there as well, which worked nicely. I installed it as recommended, that is first out of the walls then inside the walls. One catch I did not expect was that there was not enough room inside the wall to have the HDMI plug plus the wall plate (the wall is not deep enough). I have been able to solve the problem with an HDMI adapter that makes a right angle (HDMI Port Saver (Male to Female) - 270 Degree).
