We were having issues with splitting the signal from a TV set top box to two separate TV's in different rooms. (the one being a sewing room / exercise space). Whatever we tried would end up with one of the TV's not getting a signal - it appeared to be a response missing on the HDMI line and the set top box would only send an error code depending on which TV was on first. This splitter matrix helped solve the problem nicely. We now use it at TV #2 to isolate a DVD player and the signal from the set top box. We no longer get error codes from the set top box in any of the configurations we have tried. Our only negative comment, is the unit appears subject to power bumps or something. We have to reset it once in a while (once every 10 days or so) to restore the signal path to TV #2. To date we are uncertain of the root cause for this and although irritating not a deal breaker - thus the four star rating. We have to switch the power bar off/on which resets the power feeding the HDMI Matrix and the signal path is restored. Other than that, for price point and functionality - it's a win. In general, we are pleased with the performance and our purchase.

Switch work ok, the remote is hard to use as you have to be close for it to work, for my set up it is ok because I seldom change the input, the lights on the switch are extremely bright.

The "remote" only works from 6 ft away. Indicator lights could burn a hole in your retina, other than that, works as advertised.

2 units in less than 6 months... output stops to work, have to power cycle the unit every time I turn on a tv... 1st unit was output 1, 2nd unit was output 2... Ok, unit #2 worked for 3 months... Unit 1 was defective the day I take it out of the box. Very unstable box!
