I have been ordering this toner for probably 18 months now(we have a busy business and print a lot). At first they used remanufactured toners (refilled refurbished original Lexmark toner drums) which were great. Now they are using a compatible toner(compatible means they built a similar compatible one from scratch with same specs). The compatible ones(made by ecotone) are absolutely horrible. The print quality is not the same as OEM refilled aka remanufactured. The first one I got had uneven printing which drove me mad. The replacement(both were ecotone) they sent had dirty prints (smudging everywhere). This is the last time I am ordering this particular item from this site.

This remanufactured cartridge prints as well an original Lexmark cartridge. This is the second one I buy , the first one lasted as long as an original at twice the price. there is no background gray on the page, the print is crisp and clear.. By buying a remanufactured cartridge I feel I helped the environment by not putting another perfectly good an reusable cartridge in the landfill.
