I went on a 5 KMs hike with this fixed on the left shoulder strap of my backpack. It is placed just between the chest and waist and it was a comfortable spot for the camera to rest on. The clip works well, I like the hands free design. I was actually able to run at times and not to worry about a thing. All in all, I think this is a good accessory to have if one travels a lot on foot with the camera.

This thing is the business. It is uber secure and VERY well made. I have used it on my belt as well as on my pack strap while hiking. Totally recommended if your looking for a fast access solution. I use this also to hold my second camera while shooting races. I usually have one 5DM2 with a 100-400L Zoom and a second setup with my 24-70 L2.8. This gives a safe place for the other camera instead of hanging it around my neck.

Works as designed, I clip my Fujifilm X-T1 to my belt or my messenger bag and works well ergonomically, never worried my camera would fall off, but it does leave dents in leather belts .

If you watch the videos of this device used to hold your camera, sliding it into and out of the holder looks very easy. I DO NOT find this to be the case. Perhaps with time I will get better but it may also be that I just give up and write my purchase off as a bad move on my part. This very tight clearance also means none of my wrist straps will work and I have four different types that I have tried. Perhaps the Peak Design one is the next one to try but have to admit I am rather reluctant to give Peak Design any more of my money. Oh, and if your camera has a rear screen that moves, make sure you order a smaller plate so the screen will have the needed clearance. That, of course, will limit the number of spots you can attach any strap. Better yet, buy a different system to carry your camera, this one is far from perfect.

Overall, it's ok product. Pros: It is a strong metal and sturdy look. It's not a cheap material. Carrying a camera in a clip was very convenient. My neck and wrist could have a rest while I was walking. Cons: I tried with cannon 5DIII mounted with 70-200mm. Due to the weight of my camera, the camera clip was little bit not stable when I hooked up on the backpack strap. The capture screw didn't work well as I expected. I had to really strongly tighten it.

Great product. Rounded corners and locking tab make it great to carry a big lens. Quick access to camera makes shooting very fast and easy. Very stable on belt or backpack. just an amazing product!
