J’ai le cuiseur à pression depuis plus d’un mois et j’en suis très satisfait. Bien sûr il y a des ajustements à faire pour modifier les anciennes recettes à ce mode de cuisson. Il faut parfois quelques essais pour trouver la formule gagnante ; temps et mode de cuisson. Il y a certains aliments qui ne supportent pas bien le mode «Slow Cook», tel que la soupe aux pois et les fèves au lard ; il est préférable d’utiliser le mode «Pression», sans quoi les haricots ou les pois restent croquants. Quant aux commentaires qui signalent la senteur du couvert, c’est naturel que le joint d’étanchéité garde la senteur des aliments, mais, avec un nettoyage avec savon à vaisselle, tout reste bien propre et la senteur ne se transmet pas aux autres cuissons. Bonne cuisson.

Loving this InstantPot, I've been cooking like crazy for over 2 weeks. Everything is so delicious!!! Awesome product & was delivered very fast. I would recommend this & already have, my friend just ordered one 2 days ago. The manual & recipe book are OK but you learn more by checking out YouTube. I also got pressure cooking cookbooks from the library as I've never used a pressure cooker before. Little bit of a learning curve but well worth it! Love that I can do so many functions in one pot/machine.

I primarily bought this as a rice cooker given the stainless steel pot. However I haven't found the perfect ratio of water and time to make the "perfect rice" (I've tried few recipes I've seen online). I've used a cheaper rice cooker and once I got the right water ratio I liked it so just a matter of me trying it out more probably. It is bigger than I expected and probably too big just as a rice cooker unless you have a huge family. Using it as a pressure cooker however has been great.. I've made few bean type recipes, chill, , soup from hard beans and can beans and the flavour is good and beans soft. I really use the saute feature. And I'm still getting used to pressure cooking so this is all new to me and I'm sure those who have pressure cooked before and have the right recipes/ratios etc will love this.
