This is a great lightweight tripod. Weighing just over 2 lbs, it can support my DSLR with zoom lens weighing more than 5 lbs. I like to use it when I am hiking. It is compact and fits nicely into my backpack. It is stable both in landscape and portrait position. It features sturdy construction with smooth telescoping motion. I recommend using the self-timer because manual depression of shutter will cause movement from flexing of thin legs. Awesome purchase!
