Great for not having tangled Cat all over the desk top. Keeps the area clean. No more having the cords be the reason your coffee mug gets knocked over when you're moving your laptop. Not much in the way of available colours though. Easily plugs into any Cat 4/5/6 outlet. Retract has a very smooth operation without getting entangled within itself. These retracts can be hidden in the desk top data connection box when not being used and if you have this installed on the desk.

Simple, easy to use, cable retracts back into the case just fine when done properly, otherwise it's easy to untangle. At full extension, the reel has a bit of tension absorbing so this design makes it less likely the cable will stress if over extended and at the jacks. Great device for keeping tables clean and tidy, conference tables are less cluttered from over length solid cables. Good buy.

The retractable Ethernet cord is great for infrequently connected devices and for travelling (if your laptop has an Ethernet port or you need to do mobile IT administration on switches/routers/servers).
