Continuing in a long line of MFC printers, Brother delivers yet another good quality ink jet printer at low end pricing. I fully recommend this printer to anyone interested in a good home or small office printer. Not only is the initial cost low but when you match it with G&G ink cartridges from 123 the day to day cost of operation is low and reliable! The regular printing is consistent quality and the adjustable tray allows fro photo printing at good quality too!

I purchased this for home use. Currently sharing this printer with three laptops, and installation was easy for all three laptops. Upon installation of the driver, the printer was ready for network printing and scanning. No complications. I would not say color printing quality is fantastic, but good enough for small all-in-one. Mono prints goes fairly fast at draft-print setting, and quality is great. Scan quality was comparable to higher end model I use at work. Replacement ink cartridges are easy to find, both genuine and compatible.

Good compact size. Prints reasonably fast. Ink usage seems to be at an economical rate. Easy set-up. Downside is that it doesn't appear to work with windows XP, but then again I should be thinking of retiring that old laptop! Works great with Windows 10.

Le GUIDE DE L'UTILISATEUR en page 18, pour les points 4 à 9 ne nous explique pas TOUS les choix des différents items possibles. J'ai tenté de téléphoner 1-877-BROTHER ; on ne peut parler avec personne !!! On nous dit d'aller sur brother.ca/support OU d'ACHETER un outil en ligne pour nous aider !!!!!!!! Je suis allée sur le site = trop de temps pour ESSAYER d' avoir les infos ET je n'ai pas eu les infos !!! J'ai demandé à une amie de venir chez moi, et je ne comprends toujours pas toutes les possibilités de mon appareil. Je n'ai vraiment pas envie d'aller chercher ces infos sur Internet, pendant que je suis sur mon ordi à essayer de fureter avec les fenêtres pour NUMÉRISER, IMPRIMER, ETC : et je voudrais imprimer des photos : quoi choisir comme définition, couleurs, luminosité... selon la «pesenteur» du document ??? ... on peut faire pleins de choses, mais je ne sais pas comment. ET IL N'EST PAS QUESTION QUE J'ACHÈTE UN GUIDE POUR SAVOIR COMMENT FONCTIONNE L'APPAREIL QUE J'AI ACHETÉ !!!!! Donnez-moi les bons outils SVP !

Have 2 of them in both offices so I can use inexpensive ink. Not the fastest printer but does the job really well. Like the 2 sided printing. A bit slow. Uses clone cartridges without problem. Finally broke the tyranny of HP!!
