I am using this pump in my outdoor pond to provide some circulation of the water during the winter months. I keep 9 Koi fish in the pond all year round and I think they probably like having the pump circulating the water. It helps to keep the pond from icing up in the winter

The pump I got was defective. it couldn't do 100GPH. I asked for and got a replacement unit. The new unit can do 1000GPH as advertised. I am pleased with the product and the customer service.

Nice little unit. Has worked great for final pool draining, low power consumption for primary sump pump in basement and then have big sump pump come on for flood events, etc. Have also used for pond aeration in the winter.
