Well can't complain about the product, because it is what it says it is and works for what it says it does. But I did get a lesson about PoE ratings and gauges of wire. Power does go far with 28AWG, you are better to go with 23-24 AWG cable.

Don't buy this without doing your research first. The cable is very thin and needs to be paired with proper hardware (keystones etc) in order to get a good signal. With the generic keystones I have it does not perform well. I think I'll keep it around for making patch cables.

I didn't expect the internal wires to be so thin. They make it very difficult to add ends (both regular ethernet ends and keystones). They came out of the keystones very easily after they were inserted (they would often break off when being crimped in). When putting into regular ends, the wires are so thin, they would go in between and not be in line with the contacts. Quite disappointed in this cable and won't make the same mistake of going with a very thin gauge wire again.

Recently purchased this to run through the walls in the house. I was able to run it fine, but the issue is that the tiny stranded wires on the inside are very hard to get at. I was trying to use these with the "Cat6A RJ45 Toolless 180-Degree Short Body 28mm Keystone - White - Monoprice®" and they just won't make a solid connection. I'll be using this roll for creating patch cables instead.

Used this cable for a long phone line (DSL) run, so not exactly stressing it, but wanted to run higher level stuff in case it gets repurposed later. It works great for DSL and the ultra thin is just nice to work with. The cable did not come on a spool of any sorts, only shrink wrapped in a coil and it difficult to partially remove the shrink wrap, so if you're not careful you could quickly have a large 500ft knot. Assuming this is the same cable used in their prefab patch cables, the cable works at gigabit ethernet speeds without any issue.

The cable is extremely difficult to run as it is not not packaged in a box. It is shrink wrapped and the cable is not rigid, so once you remove the shrink wrap, you get a tangled spaghetti mess. I ran 5 cat6A cables concurrently for an office install and half the night was spent untangling each of the 5 cable spools. Disastrous. Good luck to you.

2 Stars TLDR: You need proprietary RJ45 plugs with these, regular ones won't work. I bought this spool of cable along with these plugs: Cat6 Plug Stranded W/Insert 50U 100pcs/Bag - PrimeCables "https://www.primecables.com/p-317598-cab-7267-cat6-plug-stranded-winsert-50u-100pcsbag-primecables" I've gone through over 10 crimps and each one showed an issue on my network tester. I gave up. These plugs ARE NOT rated for 28 AWG. After some googling, it turns out that InfiniteCables is the manufacturer of these thin cables and you need to purchase their plugs to get a working crimp.
