I'm using this for a 2nd towel rack in my bathroom and not in the kitchen as it is presented here. The main rod is separate from the ends that are secured to the wall. I highly recommend using a level for installing this. I would also advise purchasing toggle bolts and drilling the mounting holes with cement drill bits if you mount this against ceramic tiles to avoid cracking your ceramic tiles.

Steel rod and anchors are a little thinner than I expected. But they seem to hold up well.

this combined with a few other add-ons to hold things is a great way to clear up some counter space and make things accessible while cooking
