Perfect for our needs. This let us install a UniFi UDM-Pro and switch in the top mounted positions with plenty of space below for an upright UPS and modem. I did add a piece of wood across the bottom frame as I didn't trust the metal panel alone to hold the UPS weight given how it's constructed, but with the wood shelf going across the frame its solid and reliable. I'll use this model again in the future without question.

If you don't love this rack at this price there is something wrong with you. It is very sturdy and the quality is great. The fans are definitely better quality than I was expecting but they do run louder than I would like. The instructions are the worst part of the package, it would be difficult to produce worse instructions but you can struggle through it with help from YouTube. Its a great rack and well worth the trouble to assemble.

Many of the problems I have with this cabinet are mentioned in the reviews and they aren't exaggerating. The instructions are not just bad -- they're inexcusable. I've never seen such awful instructions. Listing the screws that are included, the manual says: "M6X12 screws --- 21U& More than21U, 12pcs less than21U, 8pcs" Were they blind drunk when they wrote this? I had to watch two YouTube videos to see how it really fit together. The downloadable PDF has images that are set at 20% opacity and not legible. What you get in the box is printed on one letter sized sheet and should come with a magnifying glass. I haven't purchased a networking/server cabinet like this before and bet there are others in the same situation for a product at this price. The information provided in the listing assumes you're familiar with everything and know what 1U is as a measurement. I had to google the screw sizes listed, which were different in the instructions than in the YouTube video on the PrimeCables account. The screws come in packages that are not labeled. The included fans have a ground wire and there's no mention of what to do with that. Luckily I had a friend who could confirm that you are to pick a screw that attach the fans and connect that so it's touching the metal cabinet. Don't assume people know this -- hire someone to rewrite the manual.

I like this rack, especially the value for price. As others have mentioned, the instructions leave something to be desired, you can get through it but some common sense helps in figuring it out. There are NO wall mounting lag bolts, I suggest four 1/4" lags with flat washers but may need to bolt them directly in rather than using the keyholes properly. Order some of your own cage nuts as well, the kit comes with a few hex style screws but I prefer Philips cage bolts. BUT the rack is wonderful and sturdy, the glass front and removable sides make it easy to cable up and work with. Fans are a nice touch but may be a bit noisy. I don't reccomend you use this rack in any other usage other than wall mounted.

Assembly instructions are absolutely horrible. The illustrations lack details and it's often impossible to know what orientation a panel is supposed to go. (While almost everything is symmetrical, some side panels had nuts attached to one side: they go to the front). And... I still have no idea if I assemble the backpanel upside down or not: 50/50. The entire vertical mounting brackets on either side is held by only 2 screws for each bracket. There is zero redundancy in this assembly. If a single screw strip or come loose after a few years, the entire structural integrity is compromised. It does not come with the mounting screws to mount this unit to a wall. (You have to provide your own lagging screws + washers) Also the punch out for cable run near the back of the top and bottom panels are REALLY hard to remove. You will swear with a pair of cutting pliers and will end up with sharp protrusions by the edges. But it's cheap in term of price. So there's that: once the frustrating assembly is done, you have a ventilated enclosed case.

Very happy with it, I wish the back had cutouts to run wires through. I ended up putting it on a shelf, and had to cut my own holes. yes, the lock is silly you have access from the sides, but I have it in a secure environment so does not matter to me.
