I purchased this along with the expandable cutlery try to insure to occupy as much of my kitchens odd drawer sizes, and it worked quite successfully. While a few more possible knife slots would have been nice, for the combined price, these two items helped ease my OCD need for order :) Good build quality and a nice color match between the two items.

We are enjoying the new knife block that we recently purchased. The block fits nicely into our drawer. Th block is made of wood, bamboo I believe, and is very hard so it will last a long time. It appears to me of good construction. The knife block was delivered quickly and came within a few days of purchase. It appears to be of good value, Other offerings of the same product showed a higher price, especially when shipping was added.

Arrived broken. Handle rest at the bottom was detached. Otherwise, seems solid. Easier to try to fix than return. If it wasn't a nuisance to return, it would be going back.

Well made. Some knives fit more snuggly than others but for the price, I am real happy!

Perfect. Some of our sharp knives don't have protective cases and won't stick to a magnetic board easily. this protects the knives (and our hands) nicely.

I am usually NEVER disappointed with Living.ca or CablePrimes products, but this time, I am! :-( As you can see on the picture, the width of the knife slot on the far left is considerably smaller than the other ones. It had been fixed or glued too tightly, so a "normal" knife doesn’t fit in. Unless you use this slot for a ridiculously thin knife (a knife that doesn't exist, actually), it is unusable. Also, the small slots (made for steak knives), on the top, seem to have a slightly different length. As you can see on the picture, some knives fit perfectly, while the other ones (look at the third from the left) don’t… but all my knives have the same length (they come from the same Ikea kit)! I can live with the second problem, but the first one is REALLY annoying. For this reason, I do not recommend this product.
