I initially found it used the same power cable (C3) and even the same type USB A cable. While going through installation, it had me unplug the USB cable. I thought the wireless printing was an option for portable devices but no. The actual printer works wirelessly and the USB cable is strictly for setup and programming the WiFi into. Which can actually be done on the machine via the MENU button without the cable. My old printer was also a Brother but it was a MFC from almost twenty years back. This is the replacement and I'm hoping I'll get another 20 years of use from it. Technically the MFC78020NL still works, only its a black and white machine and this one is colour!!!

Prints and scans very well but costs a fortune in toner; the printer starts rejecting perfectly good cartridges after a very few prints. Also not that user friendly to operate.

Overall, this a good printer. Although a bit slow capturing the data from my computer, this printer makes up for it with the speed that it actually prints colour pages. I find the duplex printing feature especially useful and dramatically saves on paper. When you combine all this with "Moustache" brand toner cartridges from Shopper+, it's a money-saving winner!

Don't bother. My last Brother printer was a gem, wore it out and say was a little quick to hit the order button. This printer doesn't offer true duplex capabilities, scanning is the most frustrating process you can imagine and don't get me started on this company's return policy... what return policy. Read the fine print before you make a major purchase from this company. 30 day return policy during COVID - not acceptable. It's took 3 weeks to make it to my house. A 30% restoring fee, give me a break. I'd recommend Staples or Costco any day.

Overall a little expensive, but for what you get obviously hard to beat. Especially since its laser, it will last quite a while, and thats on top of the ink. Un peu cher, mais quand t'y pense a ce que tu reçois c'est un bon deal. C'est aussi une imprimante laser, donc ca devrais fonctionner longtemps, en plus de l'encre

Easy setup and easy use. The wifi setup works well and wakes up quickly with print documents are sent. The colour pictures are poor quality as mentioned in some of the other comments. Ok for home or small office use.

Great quality product. The printing quality is outstanding and the setup was a breeze. I can now print anything from anywhere using the Wi-Fi feature or airdrop on my iPhone. I do wish the user interface was a bit more user-friendly but I would have had to pay a bit more for that model. Also, it's on the bulky side.
