Needed a recessed box, for mounting a cat6 keystone. Also managed to mount a ubiquiti u6 wifi access point over it. Made for a nice clean professional look. Cutting the hole itself, best to measure the size and cut the drywall maybe a 1/8" wider. Feed the cables into the box. Had to force the gromet for the wires open with a screwdriver, it will hold the cables snug. Make sure the mounting plate is on the box, before placing it into the drywall, else possible to lose the box in the wall cavity. Only needed a keystone wall plate to finish the install. Will buy again if more are needed.

I bought the 3 gang box to hide the plugs behind my mounted TV and it worked wonderfully! Will be buying another for the tv in the other room.

Ordered thinking it was just a box. The recess is neat but if you dont need that feature, I'm not sure of the value.
