Contains a TYWE2S module with ESP8266. Once I got the outer housing removed, I had to desolder the live and neutral prongs to remove the rear plastic from the PCB to get access to desolder the TYWE2S module and flash Tasmota on with a USB TTL adapter. Had to use hot glue when reassembling the outer housing as it would not stay together any more, guessing it originally used glue to keep it secure as there are no clips. Template for Tasmota is https://templates.blakadder.com/primecables_CAB-LA-WF4-G2.html

Bought to replace a mechanical timer and happy with the unit. Works well and easy to control and schedule using the S+ Smart app which I am already using with other devices rather than having to use the suggested Tuya Smart app. The USB charging ports are a nice extra.

It works fine for the regular socket but, the usb ports are not connected to the Tuya timer, which was the whole point of purchase.

This item replaced the plug-in for the phone charger. I can attached the phone charger cable on the side (2 inputs) while leaving the plug-in available for something else. Very useful.

My main gripe with this is that no where does it say that the USB ports are always on no matter the device being on or off. So not able to control the USB power state from app.

Bought these to pair with my christmas lights. Very handy as you can set the timer in the app and you don't need to manually turn it on/off.
