Bought these to go with a compost bin I bought for my sister for Mother’s Day. Comes with sooo many bags that I know my sister will be set for a good year or so. While putting a bag in the bin I found if I was too forceful the bags would rip so definitely treat them delicately and don’t try to whip them open like normal garbage bags. They don’t leak and they don’t rip when holding a bunch of food. Great!

These are excellent! More than just a compost bucket bag: The product is thicker and sturdier than other name brands from the supermarket or big box store. I found the commercial brands split easily and these are at a far, far better price. I also use these when I shop for veg and fruit so that I don't have to use the store's plastic bags. I have net bags but, if I use these bags, I no longer have to worry about laundering the net bags. I had a bit of a panic when I thought that Living Basics has discontinued this product.

Do Not buy this brand and this product. The material is so thin that when try to separate one bag from a roll, it torn apart become useless. I regret that I had purchased this garbage product.

I had purchased some 10 packs of this compostable garbage bags. These were the most mistake I ever made. All these bad are so thin that when I just touch any of it, it tears apart. Even I try to separate one bag out from the roll. The bag torn apart. Not only one roll, not only one package but all of them that I purchased. I did not use any of these after purchased for a few months until all my existing bags from other brands were used up. I strongly warning any potential purchase NOT to buy any of this brand and this product. You will regret if you purchased it.

Great value for the quantity but I have found the bags to be more fragile the other similar biodegradable bags meant for green bins. As long as you're gentle and don't stress it too much it was fine, just make sure not to overload the bag.

I might have gotten a bad batch, but they tear to pieces way too easily. You have to be super careful when separating them from the roll and opening them, otherwise you end up with a torn bag. I have to double them for safety. Very disappointed.

Atrocious quality. I finally got around to using these after running out of Glad Compostable Bags only to find out some bag are already ripped before putting them on the bin. If it isn't already ripped then I have to double bag them so they don't rip when full. I've been humiliated by my family for buying these. Do NOT recommend and will NOT repurchase ever again.

Disappointed that these are not very sturdy for extra thick. The bag starts to disintegrate quickly making emptying a challenge.

they tear up while I try to open them. I don't know why the bags have such high rating.
