It is a nice balaclava, but a bit difficult to use it as a hat, when you are not using it as a mask for skiing.

Overall warm and comfortable however unlike the photo descriptions, the hood cannot be tucked away neatly nor detached.

Tried this for the first time today in our snowy SK day. The hat part of the balaclava doesn't even cover half of my head. Fits really odd. Definitely won't be using it. And certainly don't recommend purchasing it.

Do not recommend to use as a neck warmer. the head cover does not come off and is annoying dangling at the back when used as a neck warmer. If used as a balaclava than very warm and no issues.
