I haven't had a decent ruler in a very long time. This one includes regions with demarcations for 10ths and 20ths of inches as well as half millimetres , which is nice. This is solid stainless steel, and just thick enough to be sturdy with a bit of flex, so it will work great for paper and woodworking applications. There is a hole on the end for easy hanging on a peg board or nail, and the (albeit flimsy) plastic sheath has a matching hole, so you can protect the finish when not in use. Very affordable, and worth the price.

This just reminds me that for school supplies, Shopper+ is a pretty good destination to buy the basics vs paying a premium. As a teacher, I'm keenly aware of costs of items and this is a cheap, good quality metal ruler. Don't buy it for very small kids as they may hurt themselves. Besides that, it's a bargain and useful in the house.

Easy to use for measuring, phisical objects. Use either left or right of the ruler. Measuring start right from the edge. Your choice imperial or inernational unitd

Great for small measurements. No space at the beginning giving you accurate read.
