The product is as described as works great! Easy to setup and can be added to your existing Smart app (if you've already got one for lights or cameras) and it'll work no problem with the same functionality. Definitely recommend. Automatically added itself to Alexa (provided your app is linked to it)

The plug itself was larger (chunkier) than expected. If you plug this into a power bar, expect it to take up a space and a half. While the Smart + Shopper app was fine in terms of controlling the smart plug from my iPhone, I didn't like that you need to install yet another third-party app (Tuya) in order to connect the plug to a smart home device like Alexa Echo dot. It took me over an hour to pair and set up the smart plug via the Tuya and Alexa apps. It was only through trial and error that I realized that the reason that Alexa was not responding to voice commands to turn on/off the smart plug, was because I had named the plug "kitchen" (which apparently is too long of a name and elicited error messages that "kitchen is not supported"). It was only when I renamed the plug with a shorter moniker like "plug" that I could get Alexa to control the smart plug via voice command. Frustrating experience for that reason.

Reduces manual effort to plug on / off balcony lights. Does require some time to setup initially. I had bell single WiFi band so there was some rework required to split into 2.4 vs 6g bands.

This is a reasonably priced item. So, I don't expect it to last very long though my older purchase of this item is working more than a year now. I had to open it from power source and connect it back so that it reboots itself and fix a trouble of turning it on and off from my android phone app but it only happened once in a year so far.
