Totally pleased with product. Have already shredded over 3-4 thousand sheets of paper. Grids a little when you try more than 5 pages but works great when I continuously feed 5 sheets of paper at a time. I get approximately 250 sheets before it shuts off to cool motor. You need to oil blades on regular basis and this was not included in instructions booklet.

Great little shredder that I would buy again in a heartbeat! Compared to similar size older unit I had for home usage, it is faster, not as noisy, and does shred 8 sheets of standard paper, 5-6 if thicker bond. It has filled many blue recycling bags already and no sign of slowing down. Great buy and ever better considering very reasonable price!

Shredded paper is about 4cm x 0.4cm. It can definitely do 8 sheets at a time. It has a switch such that the shredder cannot engage unless it is placed on the bin. Unfortunately the switch is designed in such a way that it probably won't work properly on a different bin without some modification.
