If I could give this a 0 I would. This product simply does not work. It failed to detect the thermometer in app. I did get it to show up in the app by adding it in my phone's Bluetooth settings. After adding it clicking on the device listed just checked/unchecked a checkbox. I tried pressing anything I could in the app to bring up the settings, but all that came up were instructions and an info page in Chinese. After restarting the app the checkbox was gone and clicking the device brought me to the settings page, which was confusing and unclear how to configure. I figured if the device worked properly I could get over the abysmal app experience. (which I half expected to be the case with a cheap thermometer). It did not. Shortly after initially connecting I got an error that it disconnected. It has a very short range (5ft) and I thought maybe I had walked too far away. The picture I took is with the "host" and probe all within a couple of feet of my phone. When it did intermittently connect throughout cooking it did not update the temperatures in the app. After finishing cooking, and taking the temp with my old thermometer, it did update the temperature! And I got a warning that the ambient temperature was too high, over 60c. Are you kidding me? The ambient temp can't be over 60c? What is the point of a wireless thermometer if you can't put it in an over, deep fryer, barbecue, etc.??? Save your money and buy a regular meat thermometer, or a wireless one from a well-reviewed reputable brand. This is a piece of junk.

Not overly impressed by the product. Application looks very shady. Got some disconnections during usage. Overall, I'm ok with this product, but if you want better quality, I would go elsewhere.

Since, I've seen my favorite youtuber use a wireless Thermometer, I had a price track for one on another brand, but the price never got below my targeted price, so when I saw this Wireless thermometer at great discount when you are a plus member, I had to give it a try. On the plus side, the battery doesn't need charging as it's been on the same inital charge and I never had to recharge it yet. It's convenient and easy to clean. Now on the bad side. The application is a total nightmare to use, it keeps on connecting and disconnecting from the probe. Also, it kept closing on my phone and I needed to clear the cache and even reinstall it. Just so you know, the application you need to make this thing work is called Soulbibiq. It's available for Android and Iphone, however I only tried the Android version. It's rated 1.8 on Google Play and doesn't deserve more. Also, one of the major downside is the accuracy especially the one for the ambient temperature sensor. which is so bad, Unless my oven temps is off by up to 70°F, you can't even consider using it at all as it fluctuates for absolutely no reason. I would not recommend using this thermometer if you think of using the ambient temp sensor at all and I really regret not getting a bluetooth thermometer with a wired probe instead. The only time you cannot use a wired probe is when you use a rotisserie rotating skewers kit.
