Thank you for your feedback! We're sorry to hear the colors appeared too pale for your expectations. These inkless pencils work through a metal alloy tip that leaves marks via oxidation — so the lines are naturally lighter and more subtle than traditional colored pencils or ink. For best results, try applying with a bit more pressure, as this can help enhance color intensity. The pencils work great for light sketching, journaling, and everyday writing. We appreciate you trying our product and hope this tip helps!

Bought these to "top up my cart" and avoid paying for shipping. Was anticipating a new useful type of writing device. So VERY disappointing. NOT vibrant colours. Three of them (white, black and grey) all look identical, the "colour" of a lead pencil. The two blues are virtually indistinguishable. They do not flow like ink and they do not have good coverage like a quality coloured pencil. They obviously can not be both "permanent" AND erasable. A big fail. Even my grandkids do not want to use them! Why they are listed as a "123ink Choice" is beyond me; likely on sale to get rid of inventory. Can I return for a refund?
Thank you for your honest feedback! We're sorry the pencils didn't meet your expectations. These inkless pencils use a metal alloy tip that works through oxidation, which naturally produces lighter, more subtle marks — different from traditional colored pencils or ink pens. The erasable feature applies to these oxidation-based marks. We understand this may not suit every use case.
