The cable is excellent quality, with a real thickness to the rubber coating. But because it's a bit too thick it is more difficult to coil small enough for storage. For that reason I leave it uncoiled. I have not tested the 8k capability, but the data transfer seems to be good so far.

The connection is not snug. If I'm using my phone, while it's charging, the phone will signal that it's not charging, charging, not charging.... In rapid succession. I have other cables where the connection is snug and doesn't move, even when using the phone and charging simultaneously.
